Zallaza.com is an online portal for me to reach my prospective clients as well as to display my works and services. Zallaza.com has been around since 2006.
How Zallaza Started
Before Zallaza.com, I ran a website called DesignPremiere and HostPremiere in mid 2003, which does similar services to what I do now, plus web hosting total solution. However, both site ceased operations in 2005 due to commitment constraint after I was enlisted to national service (conscription).
In early 2006, I gave another shot at design business on a freelance basis while holding on to a full-time permanent position in the day. It’s a passion and I missed doing it. The name Zallaza came about from a nickname given to me by a friend back in school. It sounds catchy, so I thought… why not?
About The Designer
My name is Razil and I’m from Singapore. Unlike many other designers, I didn’t have the privilege to study designing and web development in school. What I have is a product of learning from mistake and perfecting whatever weaknesses that I have. Still not perfect though.
For me, every project is a learning curve. It’s not as steep as how it was back then though… but it definitely still is a learning process. IT keeps evolving anyway.
After attaining a Diploma in Information Studies as well as a Bachelor Degree in Business, I am considering on retiring from furthering my education. Unless, of course, there’s a good samaritan who would want to sponsor my studies. =D
On days when I am not designing, I’ll be strumming my guitar making nuisance of myself, or irritate my girlfriend alil bit.
